Meaning:
In this 11th verse, Śrī Lalitā appears as:
- Her natural conversation (nija sallāpa) is so sweet that it humbles even Sarasvatī’s veena (kacchapi), known for its divine music. Her voice surpasses instrumental melody—representing the supreme sweetness of pure, compassionate speech.
- Her gentle smile (manda smita) radiates a soft, luminous glow, which immerses even the mind of Kāmeśvara (Shiva) in bliss, signifying that her slightest smile captivates and enchants the Divine Consciousness itself.
Meditation:
I meditate upon Śrī Lalitā, whose voice is sweeter than celestial music, humbling even Sarasvatī’s divine veena, and whose tender smile radiates with such soft brilliance that even Kāmeśvara’s mind is immersed in its bliss. May Her gentle speech inspire me to speak with compassion and grace, using my words as instruments of healing and connection, and may Her subtle smile remind me that a simple gesture, born of inner joy, can illuminate even the deepest hearts.
