चितिस्तत्पदलक्ष्यार्था चिदेकरसरूपिणी ।
स्वात्मानन्दलवीभूतब्रह्माद्यानन्दसन्ततिः ॥ ८० ॥
English:
chitistatpadalakṣyārthā chidēkarasarūpiṇī |
svātmānandalavībhūtabrahmādyānandasantatiḥ ॥ 80 ॥
Tamil:
சிதிஸ்தத்பத³ளக்ஷ்யார்தா² சிதே³கரஸரூபிணீ ।
ஸ்வாத்மாநந்த³ளவீபூ⁴தப்³ரஹ்மாத்³யாநந்த³ஸந்ததி꞉ ॥ 80 ॥
Meaning:
The Supreme Pure Consciousness, the very Reality indicated by the word “Tat” in the Upaniṣadic Mahāvākya “Tat Tvam Asi” (“You are That”). She is not merely a deity among many, but the Absolute Brahman—the infinite consciousness underlying all existence.
As Cidēkarasarūpiṇī, She is undivided awareness itself, beyond all distinctions of knower, knowing, and known.
Her own intrinsic bliss is so immeasurable that the happiness experienced by Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, Indra, and all celestial beings is described as only a tiny spark compared to the limitless ocean of bliss that is Her very nature.
Here, Lalitā is revealed as the Supreme Advaitic Reality—the source of consciousness, existence, and bliss itself.
Meditation:
This verse gently leads the devotee from worshipping the Divine Mother to realizing the Divine Mother as one’s own true Self.
Meditate on Citiḥ as the silent awareness that is present before every thought, during every experience, and after every thought disappears. That awareness is not separate from Lalitā—it is Lalitā.
Reflect on Tat-pada-lakṣyārthā and remember the great Upaniṣadic teaching:
“Tat Tvam Asi” — “You are That.”
The Mother is not distant. She is the very consciousness by which you know yourself, the world, and the Divine.
As Chidēkarasarūpiṇī, She is the one undivided reality appearing as countless names and forms. Every experience arises in Her, shines because of Her, and dissolves back into Her.
Finally, contemplate Svātmānandalavībhūtabrahmādyānandasantatiḥ. Even the joy of the highest celestial beings is but a drop compared to the infinite ocean of bliss that is the Mother’s own nature.
This verse invites us to stop searching for happiness outside ourselves and instead discover the inexhaustible Ānanda that already shines within as the Divine Mother.
The highest realization is not merely: “I worship Lalitā.”
It becomes: “Lalitā is the Consciousness by which I exist, know, and love.”

Meaning: She who is Pure Consciousness itself. தூய அறிவின் வடிவாகவும், அனைத்தையும் அறியச் செய்கின்ற பேருணர்வாகவும் விளங்குபவள்
Reflection: She is the Pure Consciousness that illumines every thought, perception, and experience. She is the silent awareness through which the universe is known, the Self is realized, and wisdom dawns.
Contemporary Reflection: This name teaches: • become aware of the observer behind every thought • cultivate clarity rather than mental distraction • seek wisdom that transforms, not merely information that accumulates 👉 Beneath every changing experience, there shines an unchanging awareness—the Divine Mother's own presence.
Meditation: “I bow to Citiḥ, the Divine Mother who is Pure Consciousness itself, who illumines my mind with wisdom, awakens Self-knowledge, and reveals the eternal light shining within my heart.”

Tamil: தத்பத³-லக்ஷ்யார்தா²
Meaning: She who is the true implied meaning (Lakṣyārtha) of the word "Tat" ("That") in the Mahāvākya "Tat Tvam Asi" ("Thou Art That"). 'தத்' என்ற மகாவாக்கியத்தின் மறைபொருளாக விளங்கும் பரம்பொருள்.
Reflection: She is the Supreme Reality revealed by the great declarations of the Upaniṣads. She is not merely the object of intellectual inquiry but the living Truth to be realized through devotion, wisdom, and direct spiritual experience.
Contemporary Reflection: This name teaches: • live with purpose • seek direct experience rather than mere information • remember that lasting fulfillment comes from discovering our divine nature 👉 When life's purpose becomes clear, confusion gives way to confidence, and every step gains deeper meaning.
Meditation: “I bow to Tatpada-lakṣyārthā, the Supreme Reality revealed by the sages, who grants me clarity of purpose, removes confusion, and leads me from knowledge to the direct experience of the Divine.”

Tamil: சிதே³க-ரஸ-ரூபிணீ
Meaning: She whose very nature is the one undivided essence (Eka-rasa) of Pure Consciousness (Cit). பிரிக்க முடியாத ஒரே தூய அறிவின் பேரானந்த சாரமாக விளங்குபவள்
Reflection: She is the one indivisible essence of Pure Consciousness that illumines every experience while remaining forever unchanged. She is the silent awareness that underlies joy and sorrow alike, revealing the unity behind all diversity.
Contemporary Reflection: This name teaches: • look beyond outward differences • recognize the same divine awareness in all beings • remain centered amidst changing experiences 👉 Life's experiences may constantly change, but the awareness that witnesses them remains peaceful, complete, and ever free.
Meditation: “I bow to Chideka-rasa-rūpiṇī, the Divine Mother who is the one essence of Pure Consciousness, who transforms every experience into wisdom, and who reveals the eternal peace shining within all beings.”

Tamil: ஸ்வாத்மானந்த³-லவீ-பூ⁴த-ப்³ரஹ்மாத்³யானந்த³-ஸந்ததி꞉
Meaning: She whose own bliss is so immeasurable that the happiness experienced by Brahmā and all the gods is but a tiny fraction of it. பிரம்மா முதலான தேவர்களின் ஆனந்தமே, அவளுடைய பேரானந்தத்தின் ஒரு சிறு துளி மட்டுமே ஆகும்.
Reflection: She is the boundless ocean of bliss from whom every joy in creation arises. She is the infinite ocean of Bliss (Ānanda), from whom every form of joy, peace, and fulfillment in creation arises.
Contemporary Reflection: This name teaches: • seek lasting fulfillment rather than temporary pleasure • cultivate gratitude instead of constant craving • discover that true happiness arises from within 👉 The greatest wealth is not having more, but realizing that the Divine within is already complete.
Meditation: “I bow to Svātmānanda-lavī-bhūta-brahmādyānanda-santatiḥ, the Divine Mother whose infinite bliss is the source of all happiness, who fills my heart with contentment, clarity, and peace, and who reveals the inexhaustible joy of the Self.”
