Meaning:
The all-pervading Divine Mother, whose essence is the primordial cosmic vibration (nāda-rūpā), the subtle sound from which creation emerges. Though worshipped through countless names and forms, She ultimately transcends all limitations of identity (nāmarūpavivarjitā).
As Hrīṅkārī, She is the living power of the sacred mantra Hrīṁ, the heart of Śrī Vidyā and the vibration of divine consciousness itself. She is Hrīmatī, filled with spiritual beauty, grace, and radiance, and as Hṛdyā, She resides lovingly in the hearts of devotees.
Being beyond all opposites (hēyōpādēyavarjitā), She exists beyond human judgments of attraction and aversion, acceptance and rejection.
Meditation:
This verse gently guides the seeker from outer worship to inner realization.
Meditate on Lalitā as nāda-rūpā and listen inwardly—the subtle vibration of silence, breath, mantra, and awareness are all expressions of Her presence.
As nāmarūpavivarjitā, She reminds us that while forms and names help devotion, the ultimate Divine is beyond every label and concept.
The sacred Hrīṁ mantra (hrīṅkārī) represents the union of consciousness and energy, compassion and power. Repeating it with devotion draws the mind inward toward the Mother’s heart.
And as hēyōpādēyavarjitā, She teaches a profound spiritual truth: true peace arises when we move beyond constant judgment—beyond clinging and rejecting—and rest in pure awareness.
