उन्मेषनिमिषोत्पन्नविपन्नभुवनावलिः ।
सहस्रशीर्षवदना सहस्राक्षी सहस्रपात् ॥ ६६ ॥

English:

unmēṣanimiṣōtpannavipannabhuvanāvaliḥ |
sahasraśīrṣavadanā sahasrākṣī sahasrapāt ॥ 66 ॥

உன்மேஷனிமிஷோத்பன்னவிபன்னபு⁴வனாவளி꞉ ।
ஸஹஸ்ரஶீர்ஷவத³னா ஸஹஸ்ராக்ஷீ ஸஹஸ்ரபாத் ॥ 66 ॥

Meaning:

The Divine Mother is unmea-nimiotpanna-vipanna-bhuvanāvalī, the One by whose mere opening and closing of eyes, countless universes arise and dissolve effortlessly — revealing Her as the source of creation, sustenance, and dissolution through a single glance.

She is sahasra-śīra-vadanā, the One with thousand heads and faces, symbolizing infinite awareness and perception, seeing through every being and every perspective.

She is sahasrākṣī, the all-seeing Mother, whose countless eyes represent complete awareness, witnessing not only actions but also inner intentions, and functioning through all channels of perception within the body and the universe.

She is sahasrapāt, the One with thousand feet, indicating omnipresence and dynamic movement, expressing Herself through every action, every path, and every righteous step in life.

As unmeṣa-nimiṣotpanna-vipanna-bhuvanāvalī, one contemplates that entire universes arise and dissolve within a single blink of Her eyes, reminding us of the transient nature of all worldly experiences. As sahasra-śīrṣa-vadanā, She manifests as infinite awareness, expressing through countless perspectives and forms, teaching us to expand our understanding beyond limited viewpoints. As sahasrākṣī, She is the all-seeing presence within and around us, guiding awareness through every sense and protecting the seeker through divine vision, even nurturing the body as a sacred instrument of realization. And as sahasrapāt, She is the dynamic force behind every movement, energizing all actions and inspiring us to walk the path of dharma with vitality and purpose.

Through this meditation, one realizes that the same Divine Mother is the stillness behind creation, the awareness behind perception, the vision behind experience, and the movement behind all actions — transforming life into a sacred expression of Her presence.

#281 Unmeṣa-nimiṣotpanna-vipanna-bhuvānavalī

Sanskrit: ऊन्मेष-निमिषोत्पन्न-विपन्न-भुवानवली

Tamil: உன்மேஷ-னிமிஷோத்பன்ன-விபன்ன-பு⁴வனாவளி

Meaning: She by whose opening (unmeṣa) and closing (nimiṣa) of eyes, the universes arise and dissolve. Creation and dissolution happen effortlessly through Her divine glance.

Reflection: She reveals that the entire universe is transient, arising and dissolving in the blink of the Divine. What we consider permanent is only a moment in Her cosmic rhythm.

Contemporary Reflection: This name teaches: • Life is fleeting • Situations are temporary • Detachment brings peace 👉 What truly matters: • awareness • purpose • inner growth

Meaning: She who has a thousand heads and faces, symbolizing infinite awareness, infinite perception, and limitless consciousness.

Reflection: She is the awareness behind every mind and every face. She does not merely see all beings — She sees through all beings, all minds, and all perspectives.

Contemporary Reflection: This name teaches: • respect different perspectives • cultivate empathy • recognize shared consciousness 👉 Others are not separate from us — they are expressions of the same Divine awareness.

Reflection: She is the all-seeing witness, present in every perception, every movement, and every living process. She sees not only the outer act — She sees the inner intention. She is the witness of all actions, thoughts, and intentions

Meaning: She who has a thousand feet, symbolizing omnipresence, infinite movement, and presence in every path and action.

Reflection: She is the divine movement in all life. Every step taken in dharma, every act done with awareness, is Her movement expressing itself. She moves through all beings, all actions, and all directions.

Contemporary Reflection: This name teaches: • keep moving in righteousness • act with purpose • do not give in to stagnation 👉 Spirituality is not only stillness — it is also sacred action.

Meditation: “I honor Sahasrapād, the Divine Mother present in every path, who fills my life with energy, right action, and ever-renewing strength.”
