भण्डासुरेन्द्रनिर्मुक्तशस्त्रप्रत्यस्त्रवर्षिणी ॥ ३१ ॥

Meaning:
In this 31st verse, Śrī Lalitā appears as:
The Supreme Commander, rejoicing as Her son-form Mahāgaṇapati smashes and nullifies the terrifying obstacle-machines conjured by Bhaṇḍāsura. She Herself becomes the inexhaustible source of divine weaponry, raining down counter-weapons to neutralize every assault released by Bhaṇḍa. Here, She is both the Mother rejoicing in the valor of Her emanations, and the inexhaustible arsenal of divine śakti that cannot be overwhelmed.
Meditation:
This verse shows that the Divine Mother not only commands but also equips us in the battle against adharma and inner enemies. The “obstacle-machines” represent the complex and subtle traps of ignorance and ego that bind us. When these rise up, the grace of Mahāgaṇapati (Her remover-of-obstacles form) smashes them, while Her own presence provides the endless “pratyastra”—divine counter-force—against the assaults of negativity.
Sanskrit: महागणेश-निर्भिन्न-विघ्नयन्त्रा-प्रहर्षिता
Tamil: மஹாக³ணேஶ-நிர்பி⁴ன்ன-விக்⁴னயந்த்ர-ப்ரஹர்ஷிதா
Meaning: She who rejoices when Mahāgaṇeśa (the great Gaṇapati) shatters and destroys all the yantras (devices) of obstacles created by asuras or evil forces. The Mother delights in the removal of hindrances that block the path of dharma and devotion.
Reflection: Every obstacle in our spiritual or worldly journey has a counterforce of divine grace. Gaṇeśa is invoked first to clear the way, and Lalitā Tripurasundarī Herself rejoices in that removal — showing that She is ever supportive of sincere seekers progressing unhindered.
Contemporary Reflection: Obstacles (professional, personal, or inner struggles) may seem like blockages, but when removed, we often feel a deep joy and relief. This name reminds us to trust the divine timing — difficulties will dissolve when the right force acts.
Meditation: “O Mother, may I too rejoice not in the obstacles themselves, but in their removal, trusting that every block is temporary.”

Tamil: ப⁴ண்டா³ஸுரேந்த்³ர-நிர்முக்த-ஶஸ்த்ர-ப்ரத்யஸ்த்ர-வர்ஷிணீ
Meaning: She who showers counter-weapons (pratyastra) against the weapons released by Bhaṇḍāsura. Whenever the demon hurls destructive weapons towards the Devī’s forces, She responds immediately with an overwhelming rain of counter-weapons, neutralizing his attacks.
Reflection: This name emphasizes divine protection — no matter how strong the attack of adharma (evil, ignorance, negativity), the Divine Mother always has the right counterforce to nullify it. She does not merely defend but overpowers the attack with superior strength.
Contemporary Reflection: In our lives, when we face challenges or hostility, this reminds us that there are always counter-strategies and inner strengths available. Instead of being paralyzed by fear, we can seek the wisdom and power to respond effectively.
Meditation: “O Mother, when life’s challenges attack me, may I trust in Your power to send the right counter-force through me.”
