Sanskrit:

पदद्वयप्रभाजालपराकृतसरोरुहा ॥ १९ ॥

English:

nakhadīdhitisañchannanamajjanatamōguṇā |

Tamil:

நக²தீ³தி⁴திஸஞ்ச²ந்நநமஜ்ஜநதமோகு³ணா ।
பத³த்³வயப்ரபா⁴ஜாலபராக்ருதஸரோருஹா ॥ 19 ॥

Meaning:

In this 19th verse, Śrī Lalitā appears as:

  • The radiance from her toenails (nakha-dīdhiti) dispels the darkness (tamō-guā) of those who bow at her feet. Her light removes the ignorance and inertia that burden the soul, offering clarity and inner awakening.
  • The effulgence from her two feet (pada-dvaya-prabhā) outshines even the most radiant lotuses (sarō-ruhā), indicating that her feet are the true object of meditation, more glorious than anything in nature.

Meditation:

I meditate upon Śrī Lalitā, whose luminous toenails shine like celestial lamps, dissolving the darkness of ignorance in those who surrender at Her feet, and whose twin feet radiate a light surpassing even the most beautiful lotuses. May I find refuge there, bowing with devotion, and may Her grace lift me from confusion into clarity and peace, where beauty, truth, and liberation blossom brighter than any world-bound desire.
