माणिक्यमकुटाकारजानुद्वयविराजिता ॥ १७ ॥

Tamil:

Meaning:
In this 17th verse, Śrī Lalitā appears as:
- Her two thighs (ūru-dvaya) are soft and graceful, revealing the fullness of her beauty known only to Kāmēśvara (Her divine consort). This denotes a deeply personal, sacred intimacy that is both spiritual and symbolic.
- Her knees shine like twin ruby-studded crowns (māṇikya-makuṭākāra-jānu-dvaya), glowing with royal splendor. The comparison to jeweled diadems highlights her majesty even in the most modest postures—seated in compassion or stillness.
Meditation:
I meditate upon Śrī Lalitā, whose graceful thighs, soft as divine mercy, are cherished by Kāmēśvara alone, signifying a beauty that transcends form and enters the realm of sacred intimacy, and whose knees glow like twin ruby crowns, resplendent even in repose. May this hidden elegance teach me the depth of trust and the richness of inner closeness with the Divine, and may this still majesty awaken in me the understanding that divinity dwells not only in movement but also in stillness, and that humility too can wear a crown.

Meaning: She possesses soft and graceful thighs, known only to Kāmeśvara as the essence of divine fortune.
Reflection: Her form is not for display but for divine intimacy—revealed only in sacred union. It represents hidden blessings and inner softness.
Contemporary Reflection: Not all beauty is for the world to see. True intimacy is built on trust, vulnerability, and sacred connection. Let your softness be a strength known by those who honor it.
Meditation: “I cherish the sacredness of inner beauty and divine closeness.”

Tamil: மாணிக்ய-முகுடாகார-ஜானுத்³வய-விராஜிதா
Meaning: Her two knees shine like crowns made of rubies, radiant and noble.
Reflection: Even the smallest part of Her divine form radiates dignity and beauty. Her entire being is royalty.
Contemporary Reflection: Walk through life with the quiet dignity of a crown. Whether seen or unseen, let every part of you reflect inner royalty and self-worth.
Meditation: "May I carry myself with grace and quiet confidence, like Her jeweled knees.”
