वदनस्मरमाङ्गल्यगृहतोरणचिल्लिका ।
वक्त्रलक्ष्मीपरीवाहचलन्मीनाभलोचना ॥ ६ ॥
English:
vadanasmaramāṅgalyagr̥hatōraṇachillikā |
vaktralakṣmīparīvāhacalanmīnābhalōcanā ॥ 6 ॥
Tamil:
வத³நஸ்மரமாங்க³ல்யக்³ருஹதோரணசில்லிகா ।
வக்த்ரளக்ஷ்மீபரீவாஹசலந்மீநாப⁴லோசநா ॥ 6 ॥
Meaning:
Devi’s face, the auspicious home of Kaama (Cupid), has eyebrows that resemble archways leading to that abode of beauty. Her eyes move like fish in the streams of beauty flowing from Her face.
Meditation:
“I meditate upon Śrī Lalitā, whose face is the gateway to divine grace, whose eyes — flowing like graceful fish — radiate silent compassion and tenderness. May her gentle glance dissolve my sorrows, and her smile open the doorway to inner joy.”

Tamil: வத³ன-ஸ்மர-மாங்க³ள்ய-க்³ருஹ-தோரண-சில்லிகா
Meaning: Her face is like the auspicious archway at the entrance of Cupid’s mansion.
Reflection: Her radiant face invites bliss and divine love — like a garlanded threshold into the realm of sacred beauty and joy.
Contemporary Reflection: Her radiant face is seen as an invitation to love, joy, and inner fulfillment. Just as a beautifully decorated doorway welcomes guests, her face is the doorway to divine bliss and compassion.
Meditation: “I bow to Her whose smile is the gateway to auspiciousness and divine love.”

Meaning: She whose fish-like eyes flow within the ocean of facial beauty.
Reflection: Her eyes, shaped like gentle fish, move with compassion and eternal gaze — drawing us into the sea of Her divine presence.
Contemporary Reflection: Her glance flows gently yet deeply, representing compassion that reaches out effortlessly to souls in need. Her eyes teach us to practice attentiveness, empathy, and silent communication through our gaze.
Meditation: “I lose myself in Her tender gaze — unblinking, watchful, and full of grace.”
