चिदग्निकुण्डसम्भूता देवकार्यसमुद्यता ॥ १ ॥
English:
Om śrīmātā śrīmahārājñī śrīmatsiṁhāsanēśvarī |
cidagnikuṇḍasambhūtā dēvakāryasamudyatā ॥ 1 ॥
Tamil:
ஓம் ஶ்ரீமாதா ஶ்ரீமஹாராஜ்ஞீ ஶ்ரீமத்ஸிம்ஹாஸநேஶ்வரீ ।
சித³க்³நிகுண்ட³ஸம்பூ⁴தா தே³வகார்யஸமுத்³யதா ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning:
The first verse presents Śrī Lalitā not just as a goddess to be worshipped, but as the universal force of motherhood, sovereignty, courage, inner fire, and purposeful action — timeless qualities that are deeply relevant even in today’s world.
Meditation:
“I invoke Śrī Lalitā, the Cosmic Mother, who reigns from within the fire of consciousness, who guides every soul from ignorance to wisdom, from fear to inner power. May her grace help me respond to life’s challenges with courage, compassion, and clarity.”

Meaning: The Divine Mother
Reflection: Salutations to the Universal Mother, the origin of all creation. As creator (sṛṣṭi-kāriṇī) she grants abundance, removes sorrow, and nurtures all beings with love.
Meditation: “I meditate on Śrī Mātā — the compassionate source of all life.”

Tamil: ஶ்ரீ மகாராஜ்ஞீ
Meaning: The Supreme Queen / Empress
Reflection: She governs the cosmos with *righteousness and compassion*, ensuring protection, order, and balance. As *protector (sthiti-kāriṇī)*, she sustains dharma, nurtures devotees, and rules from the throne of wisdom.
Meditation: “I meditate on Śrī Mahārājñī — the divine queen who protects and sustains all.”
Sanskrit: श्रीमत् सिंहासनेश्वरी
Tamil: ஶ்ரீமத்ஸிம்ஹாஸனேஶ்வரீ
Meaning: The Lady of the Lion Throne
Reflection: Seated on her lion throne, she represents *power and fearlessnesss* — ready to destroy evil and ego. As *transformer and destroyer (samhāra-kāriṇī)*, she clears the path for truth, inner awakening, and liberation.
Meditation: “I meditate on Siṃhāsaneśvarī — the fierce yet loving Mother who transforms and liberates.”
Sanskrit: चिदग्निकुण्डसंभूता
Tamil: சித³க்³னிகுண்ட³ஸம்பூ⁴தா
Meaning: Born from the Fire of Pure Consciousness
Reflection: She arises from the sacred fire of inner awareness — the flame of truth that burns in every soul.
Meditation: “I meditate on the Goddess born from the fire of consciousness.”
Sanskrit: देवकार्यसमुद्यता
Tamil: தே³வகார்யஸமுத்³யதா
Meaning: She who is interested in helping devas
Reflection: She is the cosmic protector, the embodiment of compassion, and the source of divine energy that sustains the universe.
Meditation: “I meditate on Devakārya-samudyatā — the one who arises for divine purpose.”
